Define ecosystem and identify abiotic vs. biotic factors. Recognize major terrestrial biomes (tundra, taiga, temperate deciduous, temperate grassland, desert, savanna, tropical rainforest) by their characteristic climate and vegetation. Recognize major aquatic biomes (freshwater lakes/streams/wetlands; marine pelagic/benthic/coral reef/estuary).
